The real reason I tweet so much about Assassin's Creed Shadows and @Ubisoft: Ubisoft is one of the biggest DEI proponents in AAA gaming. They have only TWO tentpole games this year that must succeed. If you vote with your wallets, Ubi will be forced to change. Both games have problems. AC Shadows makes a mockery of Japan for the sake of Western virtue signaling. And Star Wars Outlaws is pushing the defeminization man-jaw of current AAA female character design. Both are overcharging for games with less and less content and originality and gameplay. Ubisoft should be gamers primary target this year to make a difference. I'm asking once again, 2 years to stop the spread. Stop buying games from companies that hate you.

Why do so many follow @Grummz ? The guy has no real credentials. Worked at old Blizzard, screwed up Firefall, and has spent 8(?) years on Em-8er with nothing to show. The only thing he’s actually good at is waging his bizarre culture war.

Dragon Age Veilguard writer/designer MESSES UP leaves propaganda TRANS WRITERS NOTES or DIARY in game lore (video). EDIT: Some say these are Taash's own thoughts, "in character" but if so it is extremely strangely and poorly written. What appear to be writer's notes have been uncovered in the PC version of Dragon Age Veilguard. The notes, which read almost like a diary, have some crazy stuff in them: - "Trans woman IS woman" - "Valid even if no words when younger." - "Could feel uncomfortable with girls who act more feminine" - "No. I like girls. Girls smell good." - "Like hanging out with Lords more than girls." The rambling, stream of thought style notes suggest notes for characters and personal introspection by the author. It should be noted that the director for Dragon Age Veilguard, Corinne Busche, is trans, but it is unknown who the author of these notes is. It shows there is a strong intent to inject woke propaganda and speaking points into DAV. I confirmed this with OP Laureano and he provided video proof. Says not sure where this was unlocked as they unlock 2-4 at a time, but probably after doing a special quest for Taash. Ich bin kein großer Freund mehr von Jump and Runs aber holy, Astro Bot ist der Wahnsinn! Jedes Level überrascht, es gibt unzählige, liebevolle Details, die Steuerung ist großartig. Das ist Spieldesign auf einem ganz eigenen Level.

Hmmm But… Cost of goods went from 12-14 dollars a copy to zero when we went digital. Digital retail deals for AAA publishers are negotiated and more like 20%, far less than old box games that gave Best Buy more. And …the market for a hit game has gone from 1M copies being sold to 10 to 20 million copies. I think Balder’s Gate and AAA are just being greedy at this point.

@Grummz You could focus working on Em-8ER. Or you could fight those devs who are trying to scam us, Crixa Labs for instance.

This is worth a repost. I fight against woke culture rot in gaming because it is bigger than gaming. It is everywhere and a self-destructive threat to society. I picked gaming because it's my wheelhouse, and what we do here affects politics overall. Here is what I do: - Amplify gamers and dev voices who would otherwise be silenced by the Cancel Pigs. - Give gamers arguments and counterpoints that are effective against the woke virus. - Provide information and updates concisely so that YouTubers can pick up on the message, do deeper dives, and spread the word.
