@7kyvx @go_aaron I don't know abt other countries but here in Brazil it's not discriminatory and it's not racist either. It's a common color like white, black, and brown. If u see a Brazilian saying that Korean skin is yellow that's not racist. That's the Brazilian national skin color system.

Juneteenth became a federal holiday, but it never should have. America already has too many days centered on black grievance and historical revisionism that portrays one group as perpetual victims and another as perpetual oppressors. This holiday simply gives more ground to racial grievance politics that use past wrongs to attack the country and its traditions. Conservatives and Christians should stop legitimizing the framework of their enemies. It only hands them more power to dismantle what we value.

・白い肌、黒い肌という表現が自動翻訳で人種的な白人、黒人の意味とひっくり返りやすい。例えば英語でもwhite, blackは色そのものと同時に人種も指すので、これが切り分けられている東アジアの言語からすると奇妙な誤解が起きやすい
・東アジアにおける"美白"は紫外線対策であり、加齢による肌変化の防止が主眼である。このため、"美白"に対する価値観で男女差が大きい。しかし外国でこれが漂白(whitening)のように理解されがちで、このあたりが人種差別的な価値観と誤解されやすいらしい
