If you’ve been watching $NFLX over the past year or so, you know it’s been a slow bleed, down nearly 26% from its highs. But over the past few weeks, I’ve started noticing a real character change at the lows, and that’s exactly the type of setup I’m always trying to pay attention to. On Friday, Feb 27, 2026, $NFLX gapped up +12% because Netflix dropped its bid for Warner Bros, closing the highest volume week we’ve seen in a year. That spike was the first real sign that buyers were stepping in and that there was a potential interim bottom. Since that gap up, price has come down to the bottom of the range and held right off the 50EMA. Pocket pivots have started to reappear at these lows, and now the stock is curling back up, reclaiming the HVY close pivot as of Thursday. And from a technical standpoint, this is a meaningful change in character. For months, $NFLX was trending lower with weak demand and sellers in control, but now we’re seeing evidence that accumulation may be taking hold, and structure is improving. The weekly chart is even more telling: The stock is approaching the 50week, a key resistance spot, but above it, the trend could be setting up for a long-term move higher. From my perspective, this is exactly the type of transition I want to track... the kind where price shifts from a prolonged downtrend to structured accumulation, giving us a defined edge if the market cooperates. I’m watching the volume, pivots, and EMA support closely because this gives me multiple layers of probability before considering exposure. You can see this in the volume patterns, pivots, and price action, even when the broader market hasn’t confirmed the move yet. My Layers of Probability: - Gap-up + Highest Yearly Volume Week (Jan 27) → Shows institutional demand and a shift from sellers to buyers. - Support at 50EMA → Moving average defended, giving a low-risk reference point. - Pocket Pivots at Lows → Institutional accumulation visible intraday. - HVY Close Pivot Reclaim → Confirms buyers are stepping in at high-volume nodes. - Weekly Chart Structure → Approaching 50week MA, a critical inflection/resistance point. - Downtrend → Catalyst → Compression, showing signs of potential expansion ahead. - Volume Patterns → Pullbacks on low volume, advances on higher volume = controlled accumulation. These layers stack probability, showing multiple signs that $NFLX is structurally shifting into a potential larger move. Now this doesn't mean $NFLX is a guaranteed winner, but it’s now a stock that’s showing the behavior of a potential trend reversal. I'm curious what @NickSchmidt thinks. But I’m keeping it on my radar and paying attention to how buyers defend these key levels over the next few weeks. Patience, context, and risk management are everything here!!
