I live in the southern US. 90%+ humidity with 90f-100f+ temps are a regular occurrence here. I also don't have a/c to run to. Fans and cold drinks are it. All Summer long, and partly into Fall unless we get lucky and get an early cold snap. I don't wanna hear it.

@gorefetti like genuinely >30C indoors in thailand, even without aircon, is more bearable than it being in the mid 20s indoors in either new england or in england itself without aircon because of housing differences. difference is aircon is (relatively) widespread in NE

@dogboyeman there's other things i'd love to do as well, i know i'd be a good voice actor but i don't know where to even begin, i feel trapped doing nothing but STEM. i don't even know if i want to do STEM. i legitimately feel like i'm just doing it so i can stay out of SEA sometimes

@dogboyeman it's hard to describe, i just feel like my main ideas are worthless to anyone other than myself and any mistakes i make with drawing are just proof i am not meant to proceed with art

@dogboyeman the initial "cringe" portion, just having to learn everything. i know with art i have an okay foundation already but it's just so terrifying. i always feel like i have someone behind me mocking me for whatever i try to do, except with writing. even though my writing is cheesy

@dogboyeman i know educationally i'm in a rut but it will end, i've gotten a place for a biochemistry BSc in portsmouth this year, and although i'll have to withdraw i know they'll give it to me again next year. it's just with my more creative ambitions that i feel very uneasy

@dogboyeman i don't know. i want to draw and i want to make music but i'm so afraid of doing either. i'm not afraid to write though, i think i'm okay at writing.
