Our research contribution, Deferred Binding, solves the problem that stood between this design and a live bridge: chain state, sequencer commitments and watchtower data are only known at withdrawal time, and vanilla witness encryption cannot bind them. Cut-and-choose across 181 instances puts the soundness error at 2^-40.
