67th at Utrecht Regionals going 9/3/2 playing pult-chicken. Hit 4 Lopunny and lost 2 matches without phantom diving once. Lost win and in to top 32, trying to do better next time.
List was boring so Im posting my 37th place list from Utrecht last year. Blaziken goated.

Shaymin biggest fraud card in pultblaziken. Ultra ball for shaymin feels terrible, you dont have the benchspace and you lose too much tempo in the matchups where it would be needed (Arboliva&Terabox).
Just play 3 candy instead

Got 36th at Utrecht with this Pile of a Deck. Never had as much fun at a mayor.
I still remember the face of my opponents when I played trolley for 4 different evolution lines of which almost none have seen competitive play.

I’ve been in a retro / throwback mood lately so here is my 24th place list Arceus Corviknight Crobat from Vancouver Regionals 2022. Why this list? I arguably think this might be the *worst* archetype I’ve ever made Day 2 with at an event with. Like most Arc decks, you just load up Energy on other V Pokemon - this one happened to be Corviknight or Crobat. Between type advantage and big numbers, this odd combination worked well enough for me to somehow get T32 at the Regionals. There was a point where I was at the bottom tables with this deck and somehow ran it all the way back - I seriously don’t know how. The question I gotta ask is, “Which deck is the worst deck that you did well with?” Lemme know! 🤘 All of my lists are posted in my premium Metafy discord server in which you can sign up for in my Metafy community. 55th at EUIC with standard Dragapult Dusknoir fare.
Expected an uptick in item lock matchups and decided to put back Hilda over Research (insanely depressing into item lock) and I finally bought a third copy of Dragapult! Shoutouts to the everyone who did well with the guide!

5-3 at my first euic! Sad to miss day 2 after a great start but got my limits shown by @BryandeVriestcg and @falzar_cs in my win and ins. All my losses were to t64 players, so cant be too mad about it. Lot to learn, will do better next time!

Not normally one to jump in on doomposting, but post-rotation is looking miserable. Three prizers, unconditional supporter gust, and no meaningful hand disruption. Only redeeming factor is that three prizers evolve from one prizers so games won’t be over in three turns.

The first post-rotation format will officially contain no replacement for Iono. This is the first time since Spring 2022 that we have no good end-game hand disruption. All you rotation-eager, current-format malcontents will soon see how great we have it now, and beg to return!

156/2200 in Stuttgart Regional playing 59 cards+boss. Boss and Diancie were incredible, pokegear should have been another charm or luxcape. Pretty happy with my play, but List wasnt great into Dengo and misplayed both absol matches.
Next stop EUIC!
