13. Drive (2011) absolutely psychotic movie and i cannot tell you in precise words why i like it so much. except for i didnt realize Driver was the frog carrying the scorpion (on his back) the whole time which was an awesome revelation to have. 4.5/5

12. The Fall Guy (2024) this movie is such a mess but there’s a point where it knowingly and joyously starts to revel in the stupidity of it all and it owns. it’s so fucking cool Also, Ryan Gosling looks great when he’s wet and pathetic and beaten up.

overall I liked it a lot and was worth watching!! kouta's oomf and mitchy has really normal problems but i love them both regardless. if i was 16 id be doing that shit too (3/3)

...ie the children vs adults theme, it's still present but I feel like there wasn't enough commentary on why children/Kouta/etc see the world in a different light than adults, or in some cases, people who tried/were forced to grow up too fast (mitchy). (2/3)
