There is nothing religious in this declaration. It is erasure of the Hausa identity while saying they are promoting Islam. This is a lie. Any ideology that seeks to erase not coexist with indigenous basic customs, is not an ideology of peace, it’s an ideology of war, conquest, domination and colonialism. The Hausas were not conquered via war, they were theocratically colonized.

This is why I say that we Hausa people do not have elders or elites, because they have refused to support the movement, either directly or indirectly. At a time when, before their very eyes, prominent Fulani came together to defend Fulani terrorists and demand amnesty for them, even inside the major mosques of Hausaland, our own people remained silent, and we never heard their voices throughout the 12 years that Fulani terrorists have been killing our fellow Hausa people.
