Peter Obi built nothing in Anambra when he was Governor. No schools built by him, no factories, no companies, no malls, no major projects, nothing. He didn’t even build his own people, never invested in anybody. No Anambra man can tell you he’s successful today because of Peter Obi. You can’t build your state, you can’t build your people, so what are you going to do as President?

Now what are Atikus chances in a three horse race should Obi go solo again and also in a two horse race ? In a three house race Atiku will take atleast 50% of Tinubu votes of 2023 in the north west and north east, and may retain his 2023 NC votes, He may also get at least 80% of Kwankwaso 2023 votes since RMK is not on the ballot, however Atiku will lose his votes from Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa and Osun. In a two horse race with Obi as VP, Atiku can add to his kitty the SE and at least 40% of SS, his percentage in the NC will also increase by like 10%, this ticket may give a landslide victory even against an incumbent Tinubu. Outside Obi who can bring the needed traction for victory, the reality is non, the ticket will largely dependent on Atiku northern votes.

2023 Peter got 6.1M vote 2023 can he get those again if he goes solo ? To start with what are the reason he got those numbers ? 1, Regional and ethnic sentiments those made about 40%, this factor is still there. 2, Religious sentiment this factor made about 40% this sentiment may have largely evaporated, religion will not be an issue 2027, Big churches may not even give him their podium like they did 2023 due to fear of incumbent Tinubu 3, Other reasons like End sars people , youth demography etc made 20% this factor may be there or not Peter Obis constituency especially in the north particularly north central have been decimated, now should Atiku step aside as they wish will Obi get Atikus votes , the answer is NO at best he gets 30-40% Atiku votes the rest are also having their ethic, religious and regional sentiment they rather endure 4 more years of Tinubu and get power back to the north 2031. So the best for Peter Obi is still through a pathway of an Atiku if that one fails then we may even kiss a good bye to his presidential ambition forever.
