gotta say i've actually yet to see an argument against sex work that isn't a) based entirely on backwards puritanism that i don't fucking GAF about or b) actually just an argument against All Jobs Ever. sex work actually shouldn't be treated as special in any direction

i find mrbeast fascinating in how he seems like the purest possible example of a man with zero intrinsic motivation of any kind. it's all extrinsic—money, views, being liked. i can't think of a single time i've seen him enjoy something for its own sake

the real shocker for me with these videos isn’t how mrbeast comes off as sociopathic but rather how pathetic he seems. flying in youtubers from other countries to ask how to create fandom & dming people who criticized beast games 1 to ask if 2 was better comes off as so desperate
