@karanbhasin95 Sorry but big portion of the money went as earning to the factories' and restaurants' owners and it's main benefit is political power. It wasn't used to build something with a productive purpose to feed people for a long time. It is corruption.

A guy looked at #StatueofUnity pic today and said I wonder how many people could have been fed for the money that useless statue costs. I replied I am not sure, it fed a lot of families of labor who built it, it fed the people from factories who make the steel.
