Girl, straight women aren’t taught anything. Some are pick-mes who borrow esteem from being partnered with men, so we feel emotionally threatened by other women’s proximity to that man. We can only outgrow this by looking inward. I am tired of this “who made this way” trope.

people use social media intentionally, it isn’t 2010 anymore. a man liking women’s stories is not only intentionally signally flirtation and romantic availability, but it’s not respecting the civility of optics we all demand when we respect ourselves. (ie. it also LOOKS BAD for taken men to be in women’s likes, and they know that. choosing to do it anyway is insane.) i think it’s weird how many “outs” you guys give people to behave… strangely… in relationships, when they could just be loyal and control their lust.
