Our beloved Oladeji, fondly called Deji, died tragically following @metpoliceuk contact on Chelsea Bridge on 4th June 2022. The police did not tell us about this contact or their use of Taser, until we saw the video on social media, while he lay dying in hospital. A thread🪡 1/8)

Fowsia the funniest and most level headed education officer and friend, Nadia and Hannah two angels who were more than sabb aides to us when we needed them and Hafsa, Welfare officer and now SU President who’s wicked memes are only beaten by the strength of her politics.

For TWO years I got to not only work with but form friendships with some of the best women on earth ❤️ I feel very grateful for that. Thank you to all the students who voted for me twice through a pandemic it’s been an honour serving you.
