@micahjay1 Your advice is very applicable. Still, worth weighting merits of the contrarian approach (I’ve done 6 ventures in different markets): (1) keep fresh, avoid group think (2) pattern recognition & cross-pollination of ideas across markets (+an industrious founder can each anyone..)

When founders think about their next thing, they are often surprised that I encourage them to leverage relationships and stay in the same or related industry. Many want to leave their industries for a completely new one (I've made this mistake) and its often very hard.
