What does it mean to “unlock” billions of pension fund money? Pension funds should be invested to generate the best possible financial outcome for pensioners. “Unlock” sounds like a euphemism for changing that objective & justifying gov’t interference in pension fund investment.

I am absolutely determined to discover the true number of illegal migrants who have absconded and their whereabouts are currently unknown. In doing so, the Home Office has sent me this disturbing reply… “The Home Office does not hold or detain asylum seekers in asylum accommodation, and individuals are free to leave their accommodation if they no longer require support.” There is NOTHING stopping these young foreign men slipping away into the night, never to be seen again. Does the Home Office even care? What the Government is inflicting on the British people is a shameful dereliction of duty.

Hospital league tables are a disastrous idea. You do not improve standards by shaming hard-working NHS staff, damaging morale and adding unnecessary stress. We should support - not scapegoat - our medics. That means giving them the resources they need to provide care for all.
