The SNP have the begging bowl out again. From Iona to Angus, the grift rolls on. This is the party that spent years lecturing everyone about running an “independent Scotland”, yet can’t even manage its own finances. One question: will any of that £100k go towards paying back Mr Murrell? They seem to have short memories. The SNP once benefited from millions in private donations, including huge sums from the Weir family. Those donations have dried up, along with belief that they could ever deliver separation. They also enjoyed over £1m a year from Westminster, courtesy of the British taxpayer. After the delicious hammering they took at the 2024 election, that cash collapsed along with their seat numbers. Now the tin is rattling and ordinary Scots are expected to bail them out. From smug nationalists to a political laughing stock.
