A runner presents with knee swelling that is worse post-run but is now pain free after a period of rehab. There is no loss of range, no locking/ giving way. Running is not painful during or after. Would you suggest they continue their return to running if it remains pain free? [Shared with permission] Further info - no recent trauma. Good general health. MRI 3-4 years ago revealed mild OA. He just spent his 14th birthday entirely alone. Same as his 10th, 11th, 12th & 13th. Imagine that. Didn’t open a gift or card, didn’t see a friend or have a party. I find his birthday harder to cope with than any other day of the year. One day he’s getting the biggest hug ❤️💔❤️

@WSWayland I like that concept of pretension, hadn’t thought of it that way in terms of when it should happen in the process. Do novice lifters struggle to maintain that tense position through set up? And would you use similar cues for other hinge ex’s such as KB swings ?

Why don’t elite S&C coaches use conventional deadlifts? Deadlifts Mic’d up. I learn a lot watching the deadlift specialists at my gym. S&C for athletes is mainly GPP. Pushing some movements has us asking is the juice worth the squeeze.

A friend in Paris sprained his ankle twice recently. I advised him to go & see someone in person & if no help, I’d check him over via zoom… 💻 I don’t know where to start with this! 🙈 He thought it was great! Maybe that’s all that matters 🤷🏼‍♀️🤣🫣👀😬

Barry was kind, fun and a good friend. When he smiled, it was so genuine, his whole face lit up. A gent both on and off the course. My heart goes out to Camilla, his Mum, brother, sister, children & friends on tour. Barry is such a huge loss. RIP Baz

Though it was very hot ,today's community training went on very well.In such trainings children make friends from other schools and they love meeting here for training together.Out of the 4 schools, only one has PE lessons at school.This is where we come in.#GAA❤️
