@golfpro114 I just don’t know how anybody who only plays there would have an accurate handicap. You’re never playing what the scorecard says. I played 6,724 today but based off where the tees were, it was closer to 6,830

At the Legacy today. Why do so many public golf courses in Iowa not use every tee box like the scorecard says? Guess I’m playing from 6724 then since none of the 7199 tips are set up..

@Cade4ISU That’s something to take up with grounds maintenance then. Should be open unless you’re hosting a PGA, USGA, or IGA

@golfpro114 Why were the tips closed when I played it in July and September last year? By always closing tips, isn’t that just going to put way more stress on the other 3 tee boxes being used?

@Cade4ISU Legacy is a daily fee facility. It’s going to see waaaay more rounds than AGCC. So as a smart turf manager, why open the “tips” early in the season with 6+ left in the golf season?

@golfpro114 I’ve played the Legacy every month of the season and no matter the time, it’s always set up like that. Outside of the sand, AGCC is in much better shape than Legacy is

@Cade4ISU But you need to realize legacy gets 5x more play than rhe prestigious AGcc. Too early in the year to open the tees. Stick to washing carts
