Had two incredible nights with @bellesglasgow in Berlin, one for Tigermilk, one for If You’re Feeling Sinister, plus many other great songs. A celebration of everything that makes this band so special; it was all so magical and, uff, very emotional! Was teary eyed for all of it!

@nee_massey (And I’ll cross my fingers for all of Push Barman, one day… It was wonderful to hear some of its songs these two nights, including A Century of Fakers, which I *never* thought I’d get to hear live. I gasped so loud at that one the lady next to me jumped, god bless her)

And thank you Gonch, it was two lovely nights in Berlin. I would love to play songs like Loneliness more often, but it gets to that point in the set where I feel the room needs to hear the familiar. Maybe one day we’ll perform ‘Push Barman..’ in its entirety 😊

@nee_massey Having to make plans pre mobile phones, deciding things through the landline and then showing up. A younger friend also recently mentioned that, to him and his group of friends, the act of looking at your wrist to know the time feels alien. People just use phones now, not watches

Here’s a question, what aspect of your younger life do you think would appear strangest to the young of today? When I talk about power cuts, ice on the inside of windows, strealing cow manure, and working on a farm while I was still at school, it all seems a bit ancient now..

Ichiko Aoba tonight had to be one of the most beautiful shows I’ve seen. No words, really. She’s incredible.

As a big Bridget Jones fan, I am happy to announce the new film is *very* good, maybe as good as the original (!), and just perfect and very moving!! all around. Saw it in a sold-out screening where it was me, my bf and groups of girlfriends on a night out, and it was incredible.

Absolutely perfect and so, so beautiful show from @TheWeatherStn tonight at Silent Green, a venue I’d forgotten is one of the best (if not the best) in the city. The arrangements, the visuals, how each song flowed into the next–a unique, transportive show. So, so good.
