By now, I'm hopeful that everybody who loved Willie McCovey knows that I have written the first full-lengt biography of the Giants legend. It's titled "A Giant Among Giants: The Baseball Life of Willie McCovey" and it was published by University of Nebraska Press.

@giantpandaOG @KNBR Visiting MLB teams used to stay at the St. Francis. Even the teams playing in Oakland stayed at the St. Francis. It’s right on union square but also tenderloin adjacent.
