@bearsnacksuk hello, none of our recent bear cards are being recognised on the app. Any tips we should be trying?
English

@fossiliam Except that revolting editorial font change... #ArialSucks

The full @Nature paper can be found here: nature.com/articles/s4158…. Lovely maps.

I can't pretend to fully understand its significance, but I'm nonetheless confident this is the first time that @malcolm_lillie has co-authored a paper with a member of my household.

@fossiliam @York_Minster It was clearly a lot warmer this time last year!

#OnThisDay last year, conspiring with an emperor to hinder a geophysical survey of @York_Minster.

@sarah_gis @Jim_Leary I do actually have a large redcurrant bush, but it was sat on my Philadelphus. Guess I'll be keeping an eye out for caterpillars in the future. Fortunately the bush is big enough for all of us :)
English

@goodhen @Jim_Leary Yep, beaten me to it. What a lovely find 😍 I've never seen one before! Do you have currant plants in your garden?
English

So I spotted this in the garden today, but have no idea what it is? Is it maybe a moth @sarah_gis?

English

@Jim_Leary @sarah_gis Wow! That's a nice surprise. Thanks for the ID!
English

@goodhen @sarah_gis A Currant Clearwing apparently.
Nationally scarce.

@rhinglis I spent a happy season or two there as well, not digging but scanning... Happy memories of swimming in the nearby sea amongst ruins.
English

@DanelawDawn Perhaps we'd better not talk about numbers 1, 2, 4, 5 & 6... 😉
English

@goodhen I always wondered what was in the garages!! That's surely award-winning levels of organisation on display there!
