When I explained to him this morning that he was a part of scientific history, I was filled with almost as much pride as him… “REALLY?!? I love science experiments!!!” ❤️💪🥜

It was work to get here… with multiple blood draws, skin tests, and oral food challenges per year. But I can honestly say it was worth every minute of (blood), sweat, and tears (mine included).

Beyond proud that Trevor is one of 362 lucky toddlers who helped make this possible!! He went from needing an Epipen after 1/100th of a peanut, to tolerating between 1.5-4 total peanuts! @DBVTechnologies

Today I defended my dissertation while my parents watched virtually. This was really special for me as all my dissertation research, focused on Alzheimer’s disease, is dedicated to them — my mom with early onset Alzheimer’s disease, and my dad her full-time caregiver. 1/2
