Today is rough. I’m sad for Millie who hasn’t figured out Mozy isn’t coming home. I cried with her all morning. Please tell me this gets easier.

I can’t believe he’s gone. Mozy was laid to rest this morning after emergency surgery uncovered that cancer had consumed his liver. There was nothing they could do. I’ve never felt this type of pain before. It feels like my heart has been shattered. I’ve lost my best friend.
