@UmNoturno Idk about additional islands. But I’d love if there were changes to the gameplay to add more momentum and player expression to it Maybe even tweak some story portions and unify the Final Horizon ending with the main ending to make a definitive ending for the game

@goopybitz Oh my god does that mean they finally have the budget to make the 5 promised islands(instead of 3 Kronos lol) and this is like a "Final Hurrah" for what they envisioned for frontiers

It may have high peaks, but the poor quality makes these flames that will die out much sooner than anything Epic would put out Allocating resources to accommodate this flawed platform more than their own devs is not it.

Dear @Fortnite and @EpicGames Wake. The fuck. Up. Each new decision seems more out of touch than the last. More money is being spent supporting a flood low quality slop within your game than high quality content produced by people who know what they're doing

Many times working overtime too

@goopybitz @Fortnite @EpicGames Yes... you cut costs based on your data to nip things in thr butt before it becomes a problem. You dont wait for it to take effect, you see it coming. Following thier data has led them to a multi billion net worth. Its not all nice things but thats business.

@VanQuisHERphx1 @Fortnite @EpicGames You talk about profit and yet their actions speak cost-cutting. This doesn't add up How can a company be making so much and be so comfortable with spending and then talk about increasing prices to "pay the bills" while they fire another thousand?

@monksthemonkey Oh I’m not denying that there were some good ones Some people really knew exactly what worked and what didn’t But the fact that that was pretty rare kinda drove me away from continuing to try new tracks

@goopybitz @Zafch0kzzzzzzzz I’m sure there’s some that are good. Maybe could’ve been casual only, put into the track pool, every track says “By: Epic”, showing that they did intend to have community tracks too.

Guess Rocket Racing's potential will continue unexplored possibly forever The people behind it made such a unique and fun racing gameplay style and the fact it's getting ripped right out of Fortnite as a whole really sucks There's no racing game like it. It deserved better.

@Zafch0kzzzzzzzz Additionally, even though there are many great looking community tracks. That doesn’t ensure they’re designed well enough for racing I’ve played many that are cool to run through, but had very apparent flaws that would make them not viable for ranked races

@Zafch0kzzzzzzzz There are some really beautifully designed Epic tracks that you usually only get to after you’ve ranked up enough The ones you have access to at early ranks are pretty barebones, but they get pretty challenging later on and there are some great visuals too

@Zafch0kzzzzzzzz One of the things that pisses me off the most is how leakers kept saying it’d be like a kart racer and people kept building up hope for something like that And then when the game was an arcade racer instead of, they didn’t even give it a fair chance and immediately dismissed it

@Zafch0kzzzzzzzz People wanted a kart racer because that’s the most casual friendly and popular type of racing game. But I feel like what we got was way more interesting and could’ve continued to evolve into something amazing if they gave a damn

@YourAussieLiam Epic has had this habit of releasing modes half baked and guess we’re starting to see the results of that

@goopybitz It still needed something nonetheless. It wasnt enough to appeal to the vast audience of Fortnite and thats obvious. I would have loved to see this mode be successful but all I seen after it launched was the same maps and nothing more

@YourAussieLiam Rocket Racing isn't a kart racer for it to have power ups It was always about maneuvering. When you get to the later tracks, it really puts your control over the car to the test This isn't Fortnite Mario Kart. It's an arcade racer. Items wouldn't have worked as well

@goopybitz Thats the thing they released Rocket Racing as barebones as it could have. It was doomed to fail from the start. It was hold accelerate and dodge a few "obstacles". No power ups or anything to make each race unique.

The thing with low quality content is that there's only so much of these depthless experiences that people who don't know better will play before they start craving something of actual substance And when both parties leave this sinking ship. What will you have then? Wake up.

You're doubling and tripling down on this idea of Fortnite as a self-sustaining UGC platform and it just keeps degrading Fortnite as a whole The people who like it for what it was will gradually leave, and the people who only play slop will grow tired eventually
