@Mike_Bundt Here’s the thing about Buffalo that happens to a lot of teams…they don’t have experience. It happens all the time. Most of their roster has never played a playoff game before and when they get there against Tampa and Carolina they’ll be outmatched unfortunately

Two things that can be true simultaneously: 1️⃣ The Sabres are the hottest team in the NHL and capable of going on a deep playoff run. 2️⃣ They have some flaws in their game that need to be addressed that could derail them in the postseason.

My opinion on the Girard trade. On paper and for the future it’s a spectacular trade but for the team right now it might keep them out of the playoffs. Letang hasn’t played well with anyone other than Kulak all year and an addition of another offensive defenseman is not ideal

Assuming Shea is out these need to be the D-pairings until he’s back Spoons-EK Solo-Tanger Girard-JSI/Clifton First pairing should EASILY be getting the most time. Play the next two evenly because Tanger is struggling and he can’t be on the ice much
