Fun fact: I used to animate for the series back in the day and even voiced a character for an episode. Crazy to see how far this show has come since then.

Darth Sidious did not appear in early seasons of THE CLONE WARS outside of hologram scenes as the animation style was not refined enough yet to depict the details of his cloak.
