video games are a product sure, but so is your favourite film, that album that made you feel something, a painting on a wall with a price tag attached. capitalism is the root of the issue, but if we cede "art" to "product" then we've already lost

@gore_doII Games are art but games are also a product to be sold and theres no benefit to making a game that only appeals to a small amount of people, you are setting you and your studio up for failure

Yes, my personal frustration with Marathon's genre is causing reality to reshape itself to make the game underperform. This is what's happening, I report that. I don't care if it's not what you want to hear Is saying you wish an artist hadn't switched genres after listening to them for 25 years "anti-art"? You aren't "demanding" they didn't, it's just a bummer. And it certainly doesn't feel great if the album flops on top of that
