i’ve started appreciating days where nothing dramatic happens. no bad news, no stressful interactions, no overwhelming thoughts. just a normal, quiet day where everything is calm. those are the days that actually feel like rest.

Marrying right is a very difficult thing. If Allah has made it easy for you, then truly you may not even realize the magnitude of that blessing, and perhaps you haven’t thanked Him enough for it. Because in reality, it’s not your wealth, your status, your intelligence, or how “perfect” you try to be that secures a good marriage. Wallahi, none of that guarantees it. It is purely from the mercy of Allah.
