No joke. After watching this video and seeing his love for the craft and for the process of creation itself, I realized making manga is my calling. I cried while watching it, because I feel the exact same way.

That’s why I love @14MOUNTAIN with all my heart. The way he approaches manga as a form of Art, completely changed the trajectory of my life and made me want to become a mangaka myself. Manga is art. Art is for everyone.

He felt that the entire manga industry wasn't focused on children. (That's one of the reasons why) I said that in modern times, manga is no longer drawn for children. I hope the source of the interview will translate his words accurately and write the article accordingly, and that the media outlets quoting and spreading his words will verify the accuracy of the source rather than making definitive statements.

I get the point, but I don’t think this conversation should be directed at artists. The real issue is the people who engage in bullying. It should be made clear to those tossers that their actions will come back to hit them the moment they decide to post bullshit of any kind.

Artists and authors out there, dont let loud voices pressure you into sanitising your work. Fiction is a space to explore, not conform. Your voice matters more than their discomfort. Never stop creating, never stop making art!!

@sabato__n Oh wow, this looks gorgeous! I printed mine in the UK and went through several printing houses before finding something somewhat acceptable, and it still doesn’t look nearly as good. And it cost me an arm and a leg 😫

This is the last doujinshi i printed. I printed it in japan with ryokuyousha. (Comparison in the last pic between an american print and the japanese one)
Despite the shipping fee being ASTRONOMICAL it was still more affordable than doing it with my local printer
