When we stubbornly persist with things God has not initiated, He may give it to us so that we can learn the hard way 1 Sam 8:9

Psalm 63:1 You, God, are my God, earnestly I seek YOU; I thirst for you, my whole being longs for you, in a dry and parched land where there is no water.' I seek YOU. Not a solution. In finding him we will be secure

We may not understand all of God's dealings with me today, but in his time I will. I may crave understanding, but it is faith that I need

Heb 11:6 without faith it is impossible to please God' The religious find many ways they THINK please God, but without FAITH it is in vain

To enjoy life, is to embrace it with all its opportunities, trials & tests, with the very author of life itself, Jesus Christ

Trials reveal our weakness and our need for him. We boast in this weakness, for in this, we discover his strength each and every time

Ecc3:14 I know that everything God does will endure forever; nothing can be added to it and nothing taken from it. God does it so that people will fear him.’ Our focus, our desire must be on his plan and purpose. Everything else is vanity and a waste of time.

Rom 1:28 Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done." Failure to value God in our lives leads to things and places God never intended for our lives

Come FOLLOW me and I will MAKE you. .' A willingness to deny ourselves & follow Jesus DAILY is directly linked to Godly transformation

Phil 1:6 It is foolishness to persevere with things God has not initiated in our lives.

Acceptance of Christ is not the same as identification. Acceptance opens the door to salvation but identification brings growth

He created & understands the complexity of the universe, surely he can understand our confusion and bring order to our chaos if we seek him

Gal 3:13 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole.” Not just from the law but from the CURSE of the law. Yet how many Christians today are still bound by the law yet don't need to be?
