Twitter is starting to feel like when my local mall started nearing the end...Most of the stores had closed, and while people were still there, they were mostly half-heartedly poking around the anchor department stores and unenthusiastically eating Arby's in the food court

Am I the only left handed person that gets irrationally angry when the places to tear open bags are made so that a right handed person can see the front of the bag and I have to turn it around to tear it open? Just me?

Before many more of you leave, I just wanted to pop in and say thank you. It’s been a fun 7 years on Twitter, and I treasure the human connections I’ve made here. Thank you all for being so kind and for humoring my yammering about music. My timeline is a ghost town, and the “For You” page is a stew of hate. And bots. So many bots. The site is no longer fun. Under the assumption that Twitter/X is going the way of Xanga and MySpace (though probably not without merging with Truth Social first) I’ll be sunsetting this account. In the unlikely event that the site gets better, I’ll be back! But for now, I’m winding down. I would be so happy if you found me on Blue Sky.
