We commend @GovKemp & the legislature for suspending the gas tax. Any business that purposefully fails to comply with the law will be investigated immediately, & we will not hesitate to prosecute if warranted. Now is not the time to play games at the expense of GA consumers.

A week ago, I signed legislation to return almost $1.2 billion to Georgia taxpayers and save drivers $400 million at the gas pump over the next two months. As we deliver this quick relief, we’re also working to bring down the state income tax rate even more, further helping families and businesses. We’re going to keep choppin’ for you, Georgia!
