Most people treat CLAUDE.md like a prompt file.
That’s the mistake.
If you want Claude Code to feel like a senior engineer living inside your repo, your project needs structure.
Claude needs 4 things at all times:
• the why → what the system does
• the map → where things live
• the rules → what’s allowed / not allowed
• the workflows → how work gets done
I call this:
The Anatomy of a Claude Code Project 👇
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
1️⃣ CLAUDE.md = Repo Memory (keep it short)
This is the north star file.
Not a knowledge dump. Just:
• Purpose (WHY)
• Repo map (WHAT)
• Rules + commands (HOW)
If it gets too long, the model starts missing important context.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
2️⃣ .claude/skills/ = Reusable Expert Modes
Stop rewriting instructions.
Turn common workflows into skills:
• code review checklist
• refactor playbook
• release procedure
• debugging flow
Result:
Consistency across sessions and teammates.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
3️⃣ .claude/hooks/ = Guardrails
Models forget.
Hooks don’t.
Use them for things that must be deterministic:
• run formatter after edits
• run tests on core changes
• block unsafe directories (auth, billing, migrations)
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
4️⃣ docs/ = Progressive Context
Don’t bloat prompts.
Claude just needs to know where truth lives:
• architecture overview
• ADRs (engineering decisions)
• operational runbooks
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
5️⃣ Local CLAUDE.md for risky modules
Put small files near sharp edges:
src/auth/CLAUDE.md
src/persistence/CLAUDE.md
infra/CLAUDE.md
Now Claude sees the gotchas exactly when it works there.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Prompting is temporary.
Structure is permanent.
When your repo is organized this way, Claude stops behaving like a chatbot…
…and starts acting like a project-native engineer.

🚨 SHOCKING: An ex-Anthropic researcher just leaked the exact internal prompting framework the team uses.
Most people treat Claude like a basic chatbot and leave 60–70% of its reasoning power on the table.
These 10 prompts are how the pros actually use it — tested internally for maximum clarity, honesty, and depth.
Copy-paste ready. Zero fluff.
Save this thread. Your Claude game is about to change forever.
(Pro tip: use them in order for compound results)

@GordonGekko hell yeah. go big or go home dog

@ArenaBreakoutPC This game needs less ammo damage and more dinamic map environments. If this is not achieved, this game will be replaced eventually imo

Yes, our team is working on passive skills, zombie, more PVE gameplays, and balance updates😘
Enzo Zhang@Realenzozhang
We’ve got more content coming—new gameplay, balance updates, and the team is working hard behind the scenes to deliver it.

@ArenaBreakoutPC Here is my suggestion. Give players that have less money. Free loot. And then they dont have to got a quick kit mosin or stop playjng the game. Simple

@LindaRaschke put on a true masterclass during this discussion. Full interview will be posted on Sunday - 12pm EST. This may be the best interview of 2026. Make sure you are subscribed: @crowdedmarketreport" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">youtube.com/@crowdedmarket…

@KobeissiLetter small drawdown compared to the upside its going to have over the next 10 years right?
English

@Crowded_Mkt_Rpt @gnoble79 Me too lol. This people never learn bro
English

@gnoble79 im still having trouble finding the crash?
English

As long as these questions keep coming the market will keep crashing.
The Dunning-Kruger crowd is getting schooled. Maybe this boomer was right all along…
Cole Grinde@GrindeOptions
Can someone explain to me like I’m 10 years old as to why the stock market is crashing today?

@Realenzozhang @ArenaBreakoutPC and ur game died, like I told you
English

@Realenzozhang @ArenaBreakoutPC People die too quick in your game, which favors canpers, which is killing your game. 1 billion stash player opinion btw.
English

@IowaTesla @RapidResponse47 Thats very obvious. And wont happen like that
English

@RapidResponse47 This is a mistake. All this will do is remove credit options for many, many, people. Credit card companies will just be more selective and give them to people with only very good credit. Everyone else will be forced to go to worse options.
