Paula White compared Trump to Jesus just last week. Two of the most prominent SBC pastors, Robert Jeffress and Jack Graham, have given their full support of Paula White. Trump attended Las Vegas International Church some years ago and "Pastor Denise," had Trump come on stage and she said of him, "What I hear the Lord say, 'This is my Son in whom I am well pleased.'" She not only compared Trump directly to the Son of God, but claimed God as the source of her information. Sheer blasphemy. Trump is no theologian. These Word-Faith/NAR charlatans and heretics claim to be. And shame on Robert Jeffress and Jack Graham for supporting them. In doing so, they participate in their sin.

Yes, Jesus has been exalted to the right hand of the Father, but he is not ruling from David's throne in Jerusalem in the Messianic kingdom. Scripture speaks of an earthly throne from which Messiah rules, not a heavenly one. Hebrews 10 speaks of Jesus, after offering himself to atone for sin, currently sitting down at (not reigning from) the right hand of the Father, waiting "until his enemies be made a footstool for his feet" which happens at his 2nd Coming, which is what Luke 1 and the prophets speak of. And yes, all authority in heaven and earth was given to him after his death and resurrection but as stated above, he is waiting to exercise it from the Davidic throne in the Messianic kingdom, at his 2nd Coming. A supersessionistic view of the Scriptures sees all of the above as happening right now, whereas Scripture says it is still future.

Roman Catholicism and biblical Christianity have very little in common. Rome shares far more with the religious practices of the Pharisees: self-righteousness, man-made traditions, external rituals, superstitious practices, and human authority elevated above Scripture.

They actively support politicians who are Catholic by sheer convenience Democrats who run on abortion. This stiffles any serious pro-life groups and voices within the church. While I don't disagree in theory, in practical, it hasn't happened yet. Messiah Jesus will be king over all the earth when he indeed sits on David's earthly throne in the coming Messianic Kingdom. Until that time, he sits at the right hand of the Father, waiting til his enemies become his footstool. Meanwhile, most of those who now cry 'Christ is King' like to accompany it with pics of crusaders, harkening back to the time when the 'Church' was Christ's kingdom and she was the one to crush all her enemies. This interpretation of OT passages is neither biblical nor a fulfillment of Luke 1.
