Protestants don't reject the early church, which God used to write and preserve Scripture.
We reject the apostate institutions that eventually drifted away from Scripture and the Gospel and added their own man-made traditions as conscience-binding dogmas.

The Protestant reads the Bible like a man finding old family letters after abandoning the family. He loves the documents. He rejects the family that preserved them.

@_InfoGram_ Oh well. Doubling down will cost more. Time to wrap things up and learn from our mistakes so we go forward as a stronger America

This is massive 🔥
🇮🇷 Iran reportedly will receive $300 billion from Trump under a proposed investment.
🇺🇸 Trump lost all U.S. bases in the Middle East and lost control of the Strait of Hormuz because of the war.
And on top of that, he will pay $300 billion too.
What a massive loss for Trump.
The Trump administration tried to outmaneuver Iran for Israel’s benefit, but Iran outplayed them. “6D chess” again 😄🔥

@FTFonFS1 @kevinwildes @getnickwright In other words, for the Spurs to win the WCF they just need to leave Wemby in the court for the full 48 minutes
English

Caveman graphics are taking the analytical world by storm 👀
@kevinwildes: “Here’s what the Spurs need to do to win: Wemby needs to score 26 points.”
@getnickwright: “When Shai’s on the court, the Thunder, this series, are worse than when he’s off.”

@heaveniscallin1 @Truth_matters20 Don't focus on Roman Catholics. Look at the first 500 years of church history and Eastern Orthodox and Oriental Orthodox. It would help you to understand the mystery of the Eucharist and fix your Christology
English

@gpclaw @Truth_matters20 The term “Real Presence,” when used by Roman Catholics, refers to Christ’s physical presence in the form of the bread & the wine that have been transubstantiated into His literal body and blood.
If this were the case
English

@heaveniscallin1 @Truth_matters20 You're earlier explanation denies the hypostatic union. If Christ is fully God and fully Man, there is no separation between his divinity and humanity
Christ is not an ascended human. He is not God in a meat suit. He is consubstantial to the Father
English

@gpclaw @Truth_matters20 No not at all I'm pro hypostatic Union
Now if transubstantiation is real then if one takes a complete blood test before & after then there would be proof of the transubstantiation wouldn't it ❓❓
English

@heaveniscallin1 @Truth_matters20 The Eucharist being the literal body and blood of Christ does not require transubstantiation. Eastern Orthodox don't try to explain the mechanism. It is because Christ says it is. It is a mystery
English

@heaveniscallin1 @Truth_matters20 Nestorianism?
So you deny the hypostatic union?
English

@gpclaw @Truth_matters20 Omnipresent in spirit but not physically
English

@coconservative7 I understand the argument for "teach", but why do you feel the need to smuggle "preach" into your argument?
Where does scripture prohibits women from preaching (proclaiming or evangelizing)?
English

@heaveniscallin1 @Truth_matters20 Is the Son consubstantial with the Father?
English

@gpclaw @Truth_matters20 and wine become the body and .blood of Christ is to violate the doctrine of the incarnation by stating that Christ is physically present all over the planet as the mass is celebrated.
English

@td_nash Not in order: Montana, Manning, Brady, Mahomes comfortably hold the top 4. Rodgers is part of the group in the conversation for the 5.
English

@heaveniscallin1 @Truth_matters20 You deny that Christ is omnipresent?
English

@gpclaw @Truth_matters20 To say that Jesus in His physical form is in more than one place at a time is to deny the incarnation. That is, it denies that Jesus is completely and totally a man – since a man can only be it one place at one time. Therefore, to say that the bread

@BishopJaxi @Truth_matters20 His arguments sound like the progressives who teach that Mary's choice to carry the Lord in her womb means that God is pro-choice, or that because God created male and female in his image, God is non-binary
Protestantism is Progressive Christianity
English

@Truth_matters20 Thanks for proving my point and exposing yourself bud. Btw, be a man and tag me next time. Don’t be a coward.

Bishop@BishopJaxi
Could he provide a single verse where Jesus says John 6 is purely symbolic? No. Could he name a single Christian before the 1500s who taught the Eucharist was merely symbolic? Also no. Instead, he inserts “faith alone” into the text even though the only place those words appear in Scripture is James 2:24, explicitly rejecting it. As we can clearly see yet again, Protestantism is unbiblical, opposed to the historical Church, and fueled by narcissistically exalting one’s private opinion over God’s word, while altering it to accommodate one’s desires.
English

@heaveniscallin1 @Truth_matters20 It is literally bread. It is also the Christ's body
English

@Truth_matters20 🧐🤔🕵️🕵️♀️🕵️♂️ But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of the bread and drink of the cup,” (1 Cor. 11:23-28).
If the elements were changed & were really the body and blood, then why does Paul refer to the element of bread as bread and not the literal body of Christ❓❓
English

@Truth_matters20 Submit to the text rather than asking the text to submit to you
English

@Truth_matters20 Your comment reminds me of recent arguments by politicians saying that Mary agreeing to carry the Lord supports the pro-choice position, or those who claim God in non-binary. It's a completely liberal take that twists scripture to justify your interpretation
English

@RGIII I'd rather watch this level of physicality than watch guys getting blown over by the wind
