Abyss Gears are one of the main mechanics for making Kliff stronger in Crimson Desert. Weapons are mostly interchangeable, but your Abyss Gears setup is what drives most of your power. Whenever you find an Abyss Gear with an ability, you can inspect it using the "Details" option in your inventory. This brings up details on how to use the ability, what it does, and a quick video showing it in action. Almost all of these can be stacked on singular weapons, allowing multiple effects to occur with the same button input.

@GHBSmith Sorry you're right, it's armor not weapons. Helm of Ignition - ignite Flower Petal Earring - music box Saints Necklace - vitality I haven't had these activated yet and not sure what I'm doing wrong

@gpool200 I'm not 100% here but I think L2+R2 are exclusively used for items, not weapons. I only mention it as the ways to use items are different from Abyss Gears. If you have a specific Abyss Gear or combo that's not working, what is it?

@josip_salov Ward flashed some serious upside. I think he'll be good. Titans are also not a rival of the Giants so I truly wish him the best.

One thing that nobody seems to mention about Crimson Desert is that all the NPC interactions are animated properly! They bring life to the scene! Unlike many other games where the NPC is just talking standing still. I wish KCD3 can have something like this!

@LegionzGaming I'm 2 hours in as well and not super impressed yet. I do think that's extremely early to pull the plug, you truly didn't give it a fair shot. I'm hoping it will turn around, need to give it at least 8-10 hours to say imo

Played Crimson Desert for 2 hours and I decided to just get a refund. It's not a bad game, the combat is great and the world is beautiful, but the story, controls and side characters and NPC's are god awful. I don't like playing too many open world games at the same time and I went in expecting an experience similar to Witcher 3 or Red Dead Redemption or Assassins Creed (1-3 not the newer AC games) and it wasn't even close to that. I was expecting to get to a point where I would start having fun and 2 hours in and I wasn't having fun at all. I'll wait for Tides of Annihilation and Phantom Blade 0 to scratch that Action game itch.

@brightafia Listen to Dorian Yates on the Huberman podcast break it down. I shortened my sessions to 40 mins from 60+, fewer exercises, less sets and my strength has been increasing wayyy faster.

I spend up to 2 hours in the gym. I'm still shocked how people spend 30–45 minutes and then go home.

@Copizzle Slayton is so good they needed to instantly sign 2 players to compete for targets. You do realize there is no benefit in getting out of the Slayton contract outside of a trade right?

Dummies like Alex Wilson and Marshall Green will tell you players who have been MOVED ON from other teams such as Mooney and Austin are better players than Slayton. Yet Slayton still holds position with his original team. Casuals listen to casuals.

@ItsGiantsSzn When was the last time a team who invested top 10 draft capital (let alone 5) on an RB and won the Super Bowl (the actual goal)? Not saying that's the specific cause of not winning but it certainly didn't help. It's crazy to think people are still advocating for Love at 5.
