Ladder Simulations after Friday Night

@fantasynut_afl Was playing out the goalsquare in Round 1 too but it wasn't cared about because he still put up a 98 😉 I wished I hadn't started him until 3QT last week when I realised he put up a 43pt qtr (Was at the game and thought it was about 20-25). Price moving up, still a hold for now

On Rachele: -We knew Rankine returning would eat into Rachele's mid time. But Rachele still got 35% CBAs, which is more than he got in any game in 2025. 35/65 split is prob what I'm expecting as season long splits. -Ideally when Rachele is playing forward he's playing a high forward role, but there were times last night when he was playing out of the goal square, didn't love that. -Overall, thought he had a bit of mare of a game, and some bad luck. 5 FAs, some of which I thought were harsh, some unlucky moments like a mark on F50 as the siren went etc. Donuts in Q1. Despite all that, to end up with 70 was a great result imo.

For those buying Rachele this week. What did you see in Round 1 that you were unsure about before it? Buying at close to 70avg now, and prioritising him over a cash cow. I think you're needing him to hit an 85avg from here to work out as a trade in. #AFLFantasy

@B4iley0440 Windsor had 56% CBAs, 21 disposals. My feeling is give him another week if you can, he still scored above his price point so it's not a must trade this week. If you hit 0 bullets I can understand moving him on now.

@gprof96 the two can be mutually exclusive. He can average 115 and be a good pick while simultaneously being an average captain pick.

Maybe a hot take here, but if you don't have Harry Sheezel as your #AFLFantasy fallback captain this week you should not have picked him at all. There are plenty of good value options to choose from in the fwd line, his captaincy in this next month is vital to the pick.

2020. That was the score, not the rank. Round 1 I just want to be on the right players and avoid injuries, fielding the right players is a bonus. So obviously I bench the wrong players 🤦‍♂️ I don't think I picked anyone awful, even Philippou was tracking alright. #AFLFantasy

@fantasynut_afl With the new TOG rule no longer hurting any early injury for your captain, does this make the line higher than it's been in previous years? Your risk here is if Sheezel is just bad (or rested/injured for Q4). I feel like this line specifically should be about 120.

Looping is back. What's your VC line to not go Sheez C vs WC in the last game of the round?

This is a #SuperCoach trade I think. Hamstring strain typically 21 days, so 2 rounds out. At this stage of the season the pivot to what ends up being the best cash generators is too important. Could come back with managed TOG too.
