This afternoon year 2 walked to our local Narborough and Littlethorpe Allotments to help us learn where some of our food comes from. We also explored if it is the root, shoot or leaves of the plant that we eat. Thank you Mrs Woodward and Mrs Shelley for your expert tour!

We had some very exciting visitors in school this week as we welcomed BBC Radio Leicester. Tune in each morning during week commencing 28th October at 8.20am to hear the school featured on The Breakfast Club!

To finish off our Stone Age experience we looked at some ancient artefacts. We then went head to head in our very own ‘hungry games’. Where 3NH were the winners 😉 @GPSMissPullen @GreystokePS

What a fantastic start to our Stone Age Day! We had an introduction to the Stone Age, built our very own Stonehenge and finished off with a super quiz. We wonder what’s in store this afternoon 🤔 @GPSMissPullen @GreystokePS
