The UAE is building a new pipeline bypassing the Strait of Hormuz and plans to have it in operation by 2027 bloomberg.com/news/articles/…

@NFarmer1414 @business Limited ability to understand long term planning
English

@GlennBa27214362 @RMC19861987 And your better plan is awaited
English

@RMC19861987 10 years in an IVY League educational facility for economics in America,
and he takes over Canada and completely RUINS it?
What the fuck is his problem?
English

In 🇲🇽, it took 🇨🇦TC Energy 8 months for the ENTIRE pre-approval phase up to construction kick-off for an LNG pipeline.
8⃣It took Carney 8 months for a carbon pricing deal on an Alberta oil pipeline to tidewater. Glacial.
🚫No other oil producing country is imposing this. It repels private capital.
⏲️FN & B.C. approvals, carbon capture agreement, an investment proponent & many other hurdles are left. And the MPO.
🏛️“Referring to the MPO does not mean the project is approved.”
This is a set up for failure wrapped in an announcement candy coating.
English

@MelissaLantsman Did you see this coming?
If so what did you do and when?
English

Mark Carney held a press conference today to re-announce the Liberal policies that already raised your power bill by a third and gave Canada its first electricity shortfall ever.
He then said he’d consult about maybe doing something that could potentially double production and lower costs… by 2050.
LOL this isn’t a plan.
English

@jasrajshallan Where is Danielle Smith in terms of getting supporters.. to commit to finance??
English

Carney is raising the industrial carbon tax and still hasn’t built a single pipeline.
No permits. No plan. No progress.
Conservatives are calling on Carney to:
✅Approve Alberta’s pipeline within 100 days
Get shovels in the ground to the Pacific by 2026
🛢️Publish a real plan to boost production and scrap job-killing laws
Enough delays. Build the pipeline.

English

@AndrewScheer In order for Pierre Poilievre to accomplish the projects that he claims the PM has not achieved, Pierre would first have to lead the country.
Does he not see he has a problem in achieving that?
English

Remember: Mark Carney spent his life fighting against Canada’s oil and gas sector.
He wrote a book called Values in which he described his core identity and called for higher carbon taxes and radical net-zero policies.
Only Conservatives will champion Canada’s natural resources
Pierre Poilievre@PierrePoilievre
Not one major project. Not one oil pipeline. Not one new big development. Not one anti-development law removed. What's changed?
English

@jasrajshallan Cons make it very clear.. do not invest in the future of Canada
English

Every time Mark Carney says “investment,” Canadians should grab their wallets.
The PBO says Liberals still can’t define their so-called “capital spending” while borrowing billions more on the national credit card.
Conservatives have a plan to cut waste, unleash investment, and bring back real economic growth.
English

@KellyDeRidderMP Try a new tack.. your talking points are irrelevant
English

@jamiljivani Most interesting to see Javani holding a press conference as if he were Poilievre
English

Great to join @PierrePoilievre at today’s presser in Toronto with @MelissaLantsman @Roman_Baber @AmarjeetGill
Carney’s own update shows Liberals are on track to add $1 trillion in debt since Liberals took office.
There's more money going to bankers and bond holders in the form of debt interest payment than what goes to provinces in health care transfers.
End the credit card budgeting now! It’s time to cut reckless spending and unleash the Canadian economy so workers can get ahead.

English

@jasrajshallan Conservatives don’t want investments in Canada
English

@LynneBr37562004 Total disregard for a rising economic power will haunt Poilievre for years
English

@VSnetterton @acoyne Why didn’t you suggest this years ago?
English

@acoyne Devil in the details. But a sovereign fund should have been started decades ago, along the lines of Norway's. With oil royalties, not Canadians investing private funds.
English

@acoyne Yiu guys propped up this guy like some genius. How come he never proposed thia to Trudeau back when he was economic adviser? Now we are in a more precarious situation with deficits, haven't removed regulations that has kept oil in the ground and he wants to launch this? Dreamers
