We’re so quick to default to rest and meds when something hurts, but sometimes the body needs to be pushed through the pain to heal. Real recovery isn’t always comfortable or conventional. Sometimes you have to move toward the discomfort instead of away from it.

The abuses of power, the blatant self-enrichment and corruption, while the American people face all-time high prices for rent and groceries and a meal out at a restaurant and the power bill — the people have had enough. And I believe that a mighty wave is building to rebuke these abuses of power and to restore checks and balances.

It's just so random every year. Some games, we're supposed to wear colors that wash out the opponent's colors. Other games, it's a complete contrast that makes the visitors stand out. I don't get what they're going for. I'm not sure they do, either.

Does anyone, anyone, sincerely take offense at "cotton picking hands"? I've never heard it said in a racial context but plenty of times in cartoons and TV. The demand for racism continues to outstrip the supply.
