Hi Folks. I will not be hosting/coordinating GenCant this year. I'm sorry. It's time consuming and expensive and I just couldn't pull it off on my own this year. And... to be frank... it's largely Twitter oriented and this platform has lost a lot of the community value it had.

like i saw barbie last night and had such strong experiences with two songs. i didn't really want or need anything else, just two songs giving me that full range of emotions and storytelling. the movie didn't matter, just give me a room for loud song experiencing please.

i've never really understood when people say they don't like music, but after 35 years of living i think i really don't like movies. and i keep seeing them because everyone likes movies, maybe i just keep missing the good ones! but no. music connects with me so much more deeply.

We did a themed trivia party to celebrate the release of Smug Owls at our local board game café! One question was about fellow bird game Wingspan, and as soon as trivia ended a team picked it up & now Mike is teaching them how to play. I love these little moments of community.
