@aoromero9 I agree with you, AI is taking over many aspects of our lives. We already see AI technology in Alexas and other devices similar, imagine when they create more assistive technology with similar AI aspects if not better or more intense.

My prediction is that Artificial Intelligence is going to be more prominent not just in businesses but on a everyday basis especially with helping people in need #DCIM353McCormick

@AnastasiaVTD I have also been recently thinking about this. When it comes to snow days it's going to be a lot easier for schools to keep classes going. With the option of online school and being in person in my home towns high school this year, majority chose online.

#DCIM353McCormick a prediction i can think of is that online school is going to become more of a social norm for students because of sites like zoom that allow students to still “attend school” without having to actually leave their houses. I also believe that sick days or snow

@vin_delgado I totally agree with you. I think we see this everyday with the new emerging technologies from apps to devices. We all definitely use social media to communicate now more than ever. Technologies like Alexa or the Smartbulb are also changing the way we interact.

My prediction is that technology will continue to make advancements disrupting the ways we use technology now. I think it will be most noticeable in the way we communicate and interact. For the moment social media platforms will continue to lead disruptive tech. #DCIM353McCormick

#DCIM353McCormick I predict that mental illness will rise for the future generations as technology especially social media develops & continually begins taking over aspects of our lives. Social media causes people to feel left left out & think too much about what others are doing

@vin_delgado I'm doing my project on tik tok as well! I feel like it's socially impacted people immensely. It changes the way we communicate now in so many ways. We see what people are doing more and how some of us stay in touch.

#dcim353mccormick For my EDTP topic I want to concentrate on the social media app Tiktok. Over quarantine it's spiked in use and popularity, it is easily emerging digital technology. The app is very unique with their AI technology crafting users pages to be what they enjoy.

@grace_mahon This is a good read. It really shows how the primary use of social media differs from one person to another. There are indeed many people in society that utilize these apps solely to track others and their locations or activities.
