McDowell County crews working overnight to fight the Crooked Creek and North Fork Fire. We were able to see some flames this morning, officials say no one has been injured and one home was damaged. @WLOS_13

HAPPENING NOW: Battle of the Badges is going on now in Hendersonville, the blood drive encourages a bit of friendly competition between law enforcement agencies. The department with the most votes gets a trophy & bragging rights until the next event. @WLOS_13

🇺🇸ELECTION DAY🇺🇸 Buncombe Co. voters at TC Roberson HS. The election workers say the longest line they’ve seen was about 30 people at 6:30 a.m. right when polls opened. @WLOS_13

This temporary voting structure is set up for voters in Black Mountain in the 37.1 precinct. The structure has flooring, HVAC, locks, and bathrooms outside @WLOS_13

READY, SET, GO: Polls are now open in Buncombe County. There was already a line of folks waiting to cast their ballots at one of the temporary voting locations in Black Mountain. @WLOS_13

The Christmas tree arrived at the Biltmore Estate for the annual tree raising. It’s a 35-foot Fraser fir that will be hoisted up into the banquet hall. @WLOS_13 @BiltmoreEstate
