Welcome to the Family, Gracelyn! We are so excited to announce 5’8” outside hitter, Gracelyn Mathias into the clay of 2026! From Apple Creek, OH, Gracelyn captained Waynedale HS to the WCAL Championship in 2019 and 2021, as well as the District Runner Up in 2019.

She plans to study Elementary Education. We are so excited to welcome Gracelyn home to OWU! #owuvb #classof2026

She earned 1st Team All-District and 1st Team All-Conference. She serves as Class and Student Council Vice President and is a member of National Honors Society. She played her club career with Ohio Storm.

VB: Waynedale clinched a share of the WCAL Crown with a 25-16, 25-23, 25-14 win over Chippewa. @gracelynmathias led the charge with 19 kills, Jewel Persinger had 4 blocks, Kendra Keim ran the show with 24 assists and Allison Hale led the defense with 13 digs #TDR

VB: Waynedale outlasted Dalton 25-17, 25-19, 23-25, 25-18 as @gracelynmathias smashed home 22 kills and added 11 digs, and Meghan Miller dished out 44 assists. Kendra Keim served up 20 points and Allison Hale added a team-high 20 digs for the Golden Bears #TDR
