Suicide isn't illegal. What you want is a permission structure where you get to have a state-endorsed suicide because you did some paperwork.

@yuanyi_z Keeping alive someone who wants to die is just as immoral as killing someone who wants to live. Their reasons for wanting to die are none of your business. Maybe it's because they're in pain, maybe it's just ennui, maybe it's to make an artistic statement. It's their decision.

In 2021, Canada expanded MAiD to include those whose deaths aren't foreseeable. But Hanania has never seen an anti-human cause he is not willing to front.
