Keir Starmer is finally banning X for children under 16. This is a good first step to eventually ban it for everyone. Controlled speech is the only way we can have a civilized society. Have a wonderful day, Wolfgang

@anthony_foreal Tiger balm is pretty distinctive smelling. Pathetic excuses from a wee man who threw a tantrum to get out of a fight you were clearly losing. Plus you were complaining the whole fight. Boy who cried wolf…

The drama of migration must serve as an appeal to the conscience of the nations of origin of the migrants, which must establish conditions for peace, justice and development. It is also an appeal to the conscience of the transit nations, which are called to protect the vulnerable and not leave them in the hands of criminal networks. It is likewise an appeal to the conscience of Europe, which cannot claim to uphold human dignity while growing accustomed to the Mediterranean and the Atlantic becoming unmarked graves, as well as that of the international community, which is called to effective and persevering cooperation. #ApostolicJourney vatican.va/content/leo-xi…

“We would give anything to turn back time so the path of both Henry and Vickrum never crossed that night.” They say this as if the only thing that could have kept Henry alive was if they had never met. How about turn back time so that Vikrum could maybe not stab Henry multiple times. Maybe the family could have not covered up the murder and lied to the police, withholding aid themselves and through deceiving the police?

🚨 BREAKING: The family of Vickrum Digwa has apologised to Henry Nowak’s family and to the Sikh community for bringing it into “disrepute” “The loss of a young life is a grief that no family should ever have to carry. We are deeply sorry for the pain and suffering the Nowak family has had to endure. "We love Vickrum. We will continue to love him. That love does not stand in opposition to the sorrow we feel for the Nowak family. Both are real, and both will remain with us for the rest of our lives. "We would give anything to turn back time so the path of both Henry and Vickrum never crossed that night. We cannot change what has happened, we just hope that no further pain is caused in its name. "We apologise to the Sikh community for our son’s actions which have unfairly brought the community into disrepute. "We ask that this tragedy is not used by anyone to inflame division or hostility towards any community. "We now ask for privacy as we come to terms with what lies ahead”

@JohnSwinney We did decide our future through referendum and the answer was no to independence. You don’t get to just keep on voting until it goes your way.

Today the Scottish Parliament will vote on whether Scotland should have the right to decide her future. Whatever your view on independence, this is a basic democratic principle. Scotland’s future should be up to the people who live here, not politicians at Westminster.

Contemptible abuse of police power. Why kick him in the head several times when he’s already tasered & in your control? Should he not be alive to be brought to justice in a court of law for stabbing 2 Jews??!! Disgusting.

@JohnWight1 Their objective at that moment is to get the knife out of the hand of the man that just stabbed folk. Think he’s beyond the asking nicely stage. But you know that.

I am grateful to Pope Leo for saying this. While the media narrative constantly gins up conflict–and yes, real disagreements have happened and will happen–the reality is often much more complicated. Pope Leo preaches the gospel, as he should, and that will inevitably mean he offers his opinions on the moral issues of the day. The President–and the entire administration–work to apply those moral principles in a messy world. He will be in our prayers, and I hope that we'll be in his.
Fox News@FoxNews

NEW: Pope Leo downplays tensions with President Trump, addressing a "narrative that has not been accurate in all of its aspects." He says it is “not in my interest at all” to debate the president and will keep preaching a message of peace.

@JohnSwinney It’s seems like John Swinney and the Pope both have equally poor biblical knowledge.

No verse says “pray to Mary” word-for-word, and Catholics do not claim it does. That is a strawman. The Catechism’s argument is that the saints intercede in heaven, Mary’s maternal intercession continues, and this does not compete with Christ because it depends entirely on his unique mediation.

MARY BIRTHED JESUS AND NO ONE ELSE. Papias of Hierapolis was a disciple of the Apostle St. John. The man who took Mary into his own home after the crucifixion. If she had other sons, St. John would’ve known them personally. Papias learned from St. John, and wrote this between 100-110 A.D. He lists four Marys in the Gospel with the precision of a trial lawyer. Mary of Cleophas is the mother of James, Simon, Thaddeus, and Joseph. Those are the so-called “brothers of the Lord.” Different woman. Different husband. Different sons. Case closed.

@Catholic_bro Not only does he mock a catholic priest and the church. I have a suspicion he is a sodomite as well given the way he speaks. Also he decides to do this leading during holy week as well.
