It's my birthday today 🎶 76 red balloons🎈🎈🎶 I've been looking back on some childhood memories... Escaping into world of Enid Blyton 📚 Annual seaside holidays,mostly in Wales🐚 Listening to the Goon Show on the radio loved their slapstick daftness📻 😂

@karenfthompson I have a bracelet full of charms from the 70’s that I had collected and gave it to my daughter. Since then I have been buying vintage pieces to put on memory bracelets for myself and relatives. Addictive and expensive but so satisfying.😊

I have a birthday coming up soon my Twits .. The other day I was in the jewellers getting my charm bracelet fixed , because the safety chain has broken, Now I know I’m blonde and don’t have very many good ideas 💡🤭 But I suddenly had a brain wave So on the family group chat, I asked all my children .. ( all five of them ,) to buy me a charm for my charm bracelet for my birthday that reminds them of me. I hate new jewellery so I’ve asked for secondhand charms. There are thousands on eBay. My charm bracelet is silver, So I only want silver charms and they start from about £5 each so not expensive .. And will last a lot longer than flowers and chocolates. I am so insanely excited to see what they will all come up with and what reminds them of me Who thinks this is a good idea?

A little spot of Nature on my walk into town, stray poppies amongst the weeds by the side of the pavements, then a beautiful wild garden along Coney Green before entering the hustle'n'bustle of the town centre

Took younger daughter (who wants to be a paleontologist) to a lake near Peterborough last night. We found these Jurassic microfossils-teeny ammonites & crinoid ‘ossicles’-these little rock stars were part of the stems of crinoids/sea lilies-animals with 5 axes of symmetry related to sea urchins 🐚

🧶 In need of a sitting still day so began stitching little flowers on the newly knitted chunky yellow jumper - the wool used has a lovely rustic roughspun feel, lending a folksy style to the embroidered blooms that with a bit more work will become a spring petal wreathed yoke...

@grammyfizz I feel so, I should point out it's not the cardboard box but a 12-inch square wooden box, 4 inches high on the floor. I fill it with 3kgs, all welcome, foxes, cats and Robins.

I went to the kitchen to make some tea, a Robin was feeding from Fatboy's dry food box!

On my early morning walk this Sunday morning, I looked up to see the Sun shining on this building,it could have been somewhere in Italy, not in the town centre of Oswestry North Shropshire Worth looking up sometimes,as we may see some interesting architecture
