I’ve given 3€ to Elon Musk just to state how disgusting whatever happened to us.
Note that from now on, I’ll no longer represent R2S lineup as a coach neither I will ever work in a Valorant esport once again.
As you all know, this past weekend we’ve legitimately won the Artemis Cup making us the France/Benelux Champions and also giving us a slot into Promo/Relo.
For some context if y’all don’t know, we’ve played under @r2sVLR colors and logo, which some people didn’t like at divE as we’ve been aware.
Yesterday during our scrims we’ve got Gev67, divE admin asking if our team represented something, which we answered that it represented ourselves, after this response, he became quite agressive and trying to make us say that it represented Palestine by provoquing us by saying it was « Israel borders » and also indirectly try to ragebait me (Yes as we can see here, acting like a grown mature adult), by which we stranded by the fact that it represented ourselves.
5 minutes after this convo, Artemis Admins came to us to say that we’ve been disqualified for failing to respect the rulebook, which was strangely right after this discussion with Gev67.
The reason behind this disqualification is that we failed to have 2 LTRs in our roster during 2 games (out of the 14 we’ve played), after talks about the admins, their interpretation of the rulebook is the only correct interpretation which I agreed since it’s written in the rulebook, therefore the LTR rule wasn’t this clear, and this is why I asked the admins if we could play with 2 subs replacing our 2nd LTR player, which they said that yes everything was good and we were able to play like that.
In our sides we’ve done an incorrect interpretation of the rulebook but the admin indirectly said that our interpretation of the rule was the correct one and so we’ve played 2 games with the a 5 of players which was allowed to compete by the admins.
In conclusion we’ve done everything right in our side, the only mistakes we’ve done was trying to bring a bit of humanity in esports and standing by the right side of history, which apparently divE didn’t like.
