I know this is a leak rather than an official spoiler, but since this seems to be confusing people I'm like 99% sure that you can't just cast Ancestral Recall. My guess is that ability it tied to the creature being prepared. So play the creature, pay one to Ancestral and then you'll need to prepare again by exiling eight cards from your graveyard if you want to do it again. At least that's my guess.

@Nicole_Dubin I've seen it both ways but a few of the stores that do make up for it by being very generous with the credit they give. One even puts 10 dollars credit in the pool for every 5 dollar entry

@MartinJuza The format' sweet but unfortunately I'm not sure it's supported enough for people to keep playing it. Think Wizard's might need to rexplore the olden days of most PPTQ/RCQs being Standard with occasional deviations to keep people engaged with it and playing at the local level

Standard is really fun right now. There are so many cool and playable decks in Standard its crazy. Every day I keep finding something new. I often criticize so credit where credit is due. Good job Wotc and game designers, you nailed these Standard and Limited formats.

@CedricAPhillips The main event is technically a giant rcq where first and second get an invite to the next RC. So these are called recq as basically a retry rcq for those that scrubbed out.

@_maxxattack Team sealed is the only one that properly leverages skill of working as a team rather than just grouping 3 good players together imo. Really wish they happened more than once every 5 years. I'd settle for 1 limited player on NRG again tbh
