My sweet dad passed away yesterday from #Covid. I am grateful I to have been with him in his last moments. He was 3x vaccinated, but had lymphoma. He was one of the vulnerable ones that we need to protect with widespread vaccination. My heart forever broken-unnecessary #GetVaxxed

Found out this week that I won the Outstanding Faculty Award in my college (college's highest award). I also won the University's Distinguished Achievement in Teaching Award (highest teaching award in the university) this year. It's been a year, and it's nice to be recognized.
