His question makes her raise a brow, the shadow of a smirk crossing her features. ''Going out how?'' After knowing each other for so many years, it's not that hard to fall back into their usual back and forth. -

Stephanie could've easily told him to fuck right off the moment she saw him or she could've just stood him up. Even now, as he was talking to her, she didn't quite understand why she had given him this chance. Or maybe she did but didn't want to admit it. -

The truth is that she doesn't really know how to feel around him. Not after so long and how everything ended. But, she was trying. ''I'm gonna choose the fun option and go for a soda.'' Of course, she was just teasing him a little. -

Stephanie hates the way that hearing him chuckle makes her feel. That familiar warmth she would feel around him spreading throughout her body. Her only response is to roll her eyes once again. ''Well, you're in for a surprise. Yours might be more unhealthy than mine.'' -

His choice made her roll her eyes and chuckle a little. "This isn't the place I'd choose if I wanted to eat something healthy, you know?" Despite everything that had happened, it was hard to stay mad at him. After all, they'd known each other for years. -

tragedy isnโt the end. itโs the beginning of hope.

Squinting. It better be a vegetarian burger.

If he keeps that up, he'll be getting a brick to the face again very soon. "Do you? Get it?" It was hard for the blonde to stop her gaze from softening due to the sweet gesture, but she still managed. After taking a seat, she picked up one of the menus and looked over it. -

It was a nice start, yes, but he better have more in store after that. "Don't get ahead of yourself." Letting out a scoff of disbelief, Stephanie finally headed towards one of the tables for two, slightly far away from the other customers. "You still have a long way to go."
